While attending the Television Critics Association I had a few minutes to speak to Ashley Fink who plays Lauren Zizes on the FOX hit musical series, Glee . She couldn’t give me much information on what’s coming up this season because the script had just been sent to her house that day, but we did talk about what song she’d like to sing and a couple of her favorites from last season.
The Season 1 Finale was not only a dream come true for all Finchel fans, but also Wemma, Quick and Belby (yes, also motherly love counts!) had their moment. In each paragraph of the following recap, I’m going to hide the songs which have been sung in this episode, so keep your eyes open! When the kids hear that Sue is going to be a judge at Regionals, they are even more desperate than they already are when thinking about the upcoming competition against the strong Vocal Adrenaline. But Schue tells them how, one day, they will all have graduated and look back on the good days in Glee club, so they should not stop believin’ now.
Turns out Gwyneth Paltrow was a nervous wreck when she was covering Adele’s “Turning Tables”. While promoting her new cookbook (get it by the way, it’s fantastic) she took a second to chat with E! about covering the song.
Friday’s not until tomorrow, but I can’t wait until then to share the latest Glee song news. Vulture is reporting that the show’s prom episode, which will air later this season, will feature a rendition of Rebecca Black’s infamous “Friday”. Artie, Puck and Sam will be the unlikely trio covering the song, and I wonder if Kevin McHale, Mark Salling and Chord Overstreet will have fun, fun, fun, fun recording this one
This is fantastic news! For another great article with Matt, head on over to FYMF ! *** Matthew Morrison and Gwyneth Paltrow have already proven they have great onscreen chemistry as lovestruck teachers Will Schuester and Holly Holliday on Glee .
Give Me My Remote , has saved a few videos from Paley for us to enjoy during the hiatus.
Disclaimer: I cannot believe that I have to write this but many emails and, what seem to be death threats, are forcing me to do so. Raise your hand if you remember a time when I said that I was NOT excited about Gwyneth Paltrow coming to Glee. Now, raise your hand if you read my review of “The Substitute” and realized that I still didn’t really love her
