Glee Wins Big at the Creative Arts Emmys

 

The Glee cast and crew won two awards at the 2011 Creative Arts Emmy’s last night! Our favorite substitute, Gwyneth Paltrow , took home an Emmy for Guest Actress in a Comedy Series and casting director Robert Ulrich won the Emmy for Outstanding Casting in a Comedy Series. This is the first Emmy for both Gwyneth and Robert. Unfortunately, Gwyneth couldn’t make it to the show, but Robert spoke at the Governor’s Ball after the ceremony, saying: “I wanted to thank my producers from ‘Glee.’ I thanked Ryan Murphy, but I also wanted to acknowledge Dot and I wanted to acknowledge Chris Colfer because he thanked me at the Golden Globes and that’s unheard of

Chris Colfer On Emmys, Season 3 ‘Glee’ Hopes And Hip Rotations

 

Chris Colfer says he has “raging ADD.” While his ever-growing list of projects and creative avenues may suggest there’s some truth in that, the dedication and determined focus he brings to each prove he’s actually just a great multi-tasker. Best known for his Golden Globe winning role as Glee’s fashion-obsessed countertenor Kurt Hummel, Colfer last season found himself at the heart of an anti-bullying storyline that both inspired public dialogue and landed him in the Time 100, the magazine’s list of the world’s most influential people. After wrapping Glee’s second season in May, Colfer followed up the whirlwind international Glee Live tour — now in theaters as the Glee 3D Movie experience — by producing and starring in his first self-penned feature film while writing a TV pilot and starting work on his first young adult novel.

‘Glee’ Sweeps Teen Choice Nominations

 

From TV Line Fox’s Glee and The CW’s The Vampire Diaries are TV’s heaviest hitters heading into the 2011 Teen Choice Awards, having amassed nine nominations each. Modern Family and Gossip Girl also made a solid showing with five nods apiece, while Nikita netted four. In addition to scoring a nod for Choice TV Comedy, Glee also has Cory Monteith up for TV Comedy Actor and Jane Lynch vying for Choice TV Villain.

Matthew Morrison: Cameron Diaz’s Husband in ‘What to Expect’

 

Cameron Diaz and Matthew Morrison are teaming up for an upcoming project! The two will be playing husband and wife in the comedy drama What to Expect When You’re Expecting , JustJared.com has exclusively learned. The flick takes “a look at the lives of five couples as they prepare to become parents,” with Cameron set to play the host of a weight-loss fitness show. Nancy McPhee ’s Kirk Jones will direct the movie, based off the nonfiction pregnancy guidebook series.
