Last week’s episode may have been less than spectacular, but “The First Time” more than made up for it. This episode had all the elements of an awesome Glee episode: big drama, awesome laughs, excellent music…and oh, did I mention big drama

That’s right, Sam fans – Chord Overstreet is currently in final talks to return to Glee later this season! TV Line is reporting that Overstreet will return to the show on a recurring basis, reprising the role of Sam Evans starting with episode 8. Gleeks will remember that Overstreet decided to leave the show this summer, after the show decided not to pick up his series regular option for season 3
She may be the toughest woman in Lima, but Coach Beiste deserves some loving, too! And it seems like her time as finally come, as TV Line is reporting that Glee has cast a love interest for McKinley’s football coach! Eric Bruskotter, who has previously had recurring roles on 24 , Six Feet Under and Providence , will be playing the character of Johnny, a major recurring role.
Although it was a pretty great episode, I think that “Asian F” suffered from too much hype. While I enjoyed watching it, I think I preferred last week’s “I Am Unicorn” better, and I wonder how much of that has to do with the fact that “Asian F” was frequently touted as one of the best episodes of Glee ever, even before it was aired. Several entertainment blogs like Entertainment Weekly and E! Online were comparing it to such season one greats as “Wheels”, which is extremely high praise
Klaine fans, I hate to break this to you, but it seems like there’s trouble ahead for our favourite gay couple. TV Line announced this week that Glee has cast theater actor Grant Gustin to play the recurring role of Sebastian, a gay Dalton Academy Warbler who sets his sights on Mr. Blaine Warbler himself.
