Happy First Listen Friday, everybody! “Asian F” may mean a bad grade to Mike Chang’s parents, but to everyone else, it is an A+. Early reviews from all the major sources such as Kristin Dos Santos and Michael Ausiello have already dubbed “Asian F” one of Glee ‘s best episodes yet! Although I have not seen the episode yet, the track listing already makes me giddy for a couple of reasons.
Over the course of 2 Seasons of Glee , we’ve seen and heard our New Directions belt out show tunes from various beloved Broadway musicals such as Wicked and Rent . Now in Season 3, we finally get to see them partake in one. According to an interview with the The Hollywood Reporter at Fox ‘s Eco Casino Party, Lea Michele revealed that McKinley High is producing a musical that the members of New Directions will be auditioning for.
Glee has found Mercedes’ rebound guy. LaMarcus Tinker — best known for his role as Luke’s mild-mannered BFF Dallas on Friday Night Lights — is joining the cast as Marcus, a massive lineman for the McKinley Titans and a love interest for Amber Riley’s lovelorn diva. Glee Spoiler Alert: New Season Premiere Intel! The character, formerly known as “Bubba” on casting breakdowns, will presumably fill the hole in Mercedes’ heart left by Sam ( the departing Chord Overstreet )
