Take a look at 16 new character shots in the slideshow below – even Mike O’Malley as Burt Hummel gets his own photo this year! Interestingly, so does Jessalyn Gilsig as Terri Schuester – I’m still interested to know how they plan on using her regularly this season.

Back in February, we reported that Glee stars Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, and Amber Riley were going to be appearing in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons , and now we’ve got your first look at the Simpsonsized actors! Above you’ll see a yellow-skinned character being voiced by Lea, and look below the jump for pictures of the characters being voiced by Cory and Amber. Our three gleeks will be appearing in The Simpsons ‘ 22nd season premiere, called “Elementary School Musical,” on Sunday, September 26 at 8 p.m. on FOX.

Glee may not have rocked the Emmys awards-wise last night, but they definitely helped rock the intro number!
